今日，我们非常荣幸且欣欣然地接受了新加坡国立大学出版社社长Paul H. Kratoska博士馈赠的英文书刊71册（详细书单附后）。这些有关东南亚历史、文化、社会、政治的书籍颇为珍贵，其中亦有Kratoska博士亲自编撰的关于马来亚的英国殖民地档案索引12卷。

2009年3月，Kratoska博士来我院访问，曾提及有意赠书。一年多来，他始终惦记，不忘允诺，并极尽所能、耐心地落实此事。

由衷感谢Kratoska博士的慷慨、厚谊及其对我院图书收藏工作的鼎力支持！也非常感谢新加坡国立大学出版社Valee A. Ramasamy以及沈惠芬博士的关心和帮助！
